Corn-Free Baking Powder

Traditional baking powder contains corn starch, which is why I don't use it in my baked goods. Many of you have searched for a source of corn-free baking powder -- and now, here
it is.

1 part cream of tartar
1 part baking soda
1 part arrowroot powder

You can make any size batch you wish, as long as you use equal amounts of each ingredient. For best results, use brand-new, fresh baking soda.

Can I use Guar Gum instead of arrowroot powder?

I would give it a try! I know you can use potato starch or tapioca starch as a substitute as well.
